Dominic Capparelli is a production manager and systems engineer with more than 20 years of experience across live events, touring, and broadcast. Cothrom is his independent practice, built around production management for ambitious live events and technically challenging installations.
Most recently, Dominic was Production Manager for the Irish Festival of Oulu in Finland, coordinating a four-day, five-stage street festival with more than a dozen bands, local artists, traditional storytelling, and an 18-tonne, two-storey mechanical Pegasus, delivered for audiences numbering in the thousands.
His broader career spans long-term broadcast and inquiry facilities at Pi Communications in Belfast, AVoIP infrastructure and network reliability across more than 180 spaces at Queen’s University Belfast, and large-scale corporate events across the United States with Encore Global, where he directed technical delivery for audiences of up to 8,000. Earlier, he toured internationally with Cirque du Soleil, coordinating show electronics and automation across 11 countries, and worked in automation research and development at Tait Towers in Las Vegas.
Dominic brings this range of experience, in technical design, project leadership, crewing, and financial oversight, to each production he manages. He works closely with artistic and technical teams from early planning through on-site delivery, aiming for clear communication, practical problem-solving, and systems that keep working reliably under pressure.
